Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical
Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record vital signs, medical history, and symptoms
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide health coaching to patients and their families
- Perform medical imaging, mammography, sonography, and specimen collection processing
- Assist with ambulatory surgery center procedures
- Operate neonatal ventilators
- Administer dermal fillers
- Document patient care in eClinicalWorks electronic health record system
- Educate patients on post-operative care and self-care at home
- Order and manage durable medical equipment (DME)
Skills:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, family members, and interdisciplinary team members
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Ability to operate medical equipment safely and effectively
