What are the responsibilities and job description for the Travel RN LTAC position at Treva Corporation?
Duties:
- Provide nursing care to patients with developmental disabilities, including assisting with activities of daily living and administering medications as prescribed.
- Perform sonography procedures as needed, following established protocols and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Utilize Athenahealth or similar electronic medical record system to document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Assist with discharge planning, coordinating services and resources to ensure a smooth transition for patients returning home or to a nursing facility.
- Administer esthetic laser treatments as directed by a licensed healthcare provider.
- Provide nursing care in various settings, including emergency rooms, nursing homes, and primary care clinics.
- Perform gastric lavage and administer enteral feedings as necessary.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse, preferably in a variety of healthcare settings.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in performing sonography procedures is a plus.
- Familiarity with Athenahealth or similar electronic medical record systems is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of discharge planning principles and practices.
- Experience in administering esthetic laser treatments is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments, such as emergency rooms and primary care clinics.
