What are the responsibilities and job description for the Travel RN, Med Surg Tele position at Treva Corporation?
Day/Night rotation.
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in a medical/surgical setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Perform procedures such as gastric lavage, spinal tap, esthetic laser treatment, and family planning counseling
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs and lab results
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Assist with neonatal ventilator management and care
- Provide wound care, including ostomy care
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning
- Document patient information accurately and timely
Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of {location}
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical/surgical setting
- Proficient in medical coding and documentation
- Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
- Knowledge of ambulatory surgery center operations
