Position Summary:
Evaluate patients with communication and swallowing disorders. Develops and implements treatment plans to address those deficits.
Major Position Responsibilities:

- Maintains a safe, clean working environment, including unit based safety and infection control requirements.
- Performs evaluations, develops and implements treatment plan for pediatric, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric populations with various diagnoses.
- Maintains professional standards of conduct and ethics as outlined in department expectations and professional organizations.
- Provides education to patients, families, caregivers and other health professionals.
- Assists in the supervision of other staff members, students, and volunteers, as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of overall experience, preferred.
Licenses:
- Licensure or eligible for licensure by the California Speech Pathology and Audiology Board.
- Current California driver's license, required.
- Current auto insurance, required.
Certifications:
- Current BLS certification, required upon hire; American Heart Association Healthcare Provider.
Each new hire candidate who is offered employment must pass a physical evaluation, urine drug screen and pre-employment background checks before starting work.
- Salary/Hourly Wage range based on experience.
