Parts Delivery Driver- Hagerstown, MD
Eastern Lift Truck Co., a leader in forklift sales, rentals, parts, and service for over 50 years, was built on the motto "We're Known for Good Service." We provide excellent sales and service in all areas of the Material Handling Industry including Lift Trucks, Compactors and Balers, Commercial Dock and Doors, and Allied Solutions. Our growing company is currently seeking an entry level Parts Driver.
Main Duties:
- Transport parts and materials using a company-owned vehicle (Stake Body Truck)
- Pick-up and deliver parts and materials safely and efficiently to our customers, technicians, vendors, and other branch locations
- Load and unload delivery trucks
- Assist in the shop and yard, and as needed
- Stock shop supplies
- General maintenance and housekeeping
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Foster relationships with new and existing customers
- Order, process, & pull parts for our Customers and Road/Shop Personnel
- Shipping / Receiving of Parts Inventory
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Good physical condition (D.O.T. physical and drug screening required upon hire)
- Experience safely operating forklifts
- Forklift Operator Certification preferred
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, and possess excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task and function in a fast paced environment
- Excellent work ethic and a POSITIVE attitude
- Stable work history
- Ability to provide references of prior employers
