Tri-State Trailer Sales is seeking an Semi-Trailer Salesperson to service the Northern Cincinnati & Dayton, OH regions. We are a full-service semi-trailer dealership representing 13 different manufacturers and have been in business for 38 years; and a leader in the transportation industry!
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Sell and promote full line of new and used semi-trailers
· Prospect for new business
· Maintain and develop existing territory
· Appraise and purchase equipment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Truck, Trailer & Transportation Industry parts a plus!
- Outside B2B Sales and Cold Calling Experience (2 years)
- Enjoy being on the road visiting customers and prospects.
- Have a professional appearance and strong verbal and written communication/negotiation/closing skills.
- Be self-motivated, organized and have good time-management skills.
- Have good customer service skills and the ability to build rapport.
- Have knowledge of computers, including Outlook, Excel & Word.
- Candidate must have current valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Prior sales experience is beneficial.
- Experience with Commercial Trucks & Trailers or working within the Transportation Industry.
