Our company is seeking an Aquatics Specialist to educate and assist customers, maintain tanks and make sure water quality meets safety standards. You will be responsible for assisting customers and keeping our systems in good condition. A strong understanding of basic aquarium knowledge is required. As an Aquatics Specialist, you should have experience working with aquariums, excellent customer service, and knowledge of the industry. You should be physically fit to supervise the aquatics department on a daily basis.

Our company is looking for a qualified person who specializes in aquariums, live plants, and corals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance to customers on products and livestock based on their tank parameters.
  • Feed, clean, and maintain freshwater fish systems.
  • Feed, clean, and maintain saltwater fish systems.
  • Be comfortable around invertebrates including snails, crabs, and worms.
  • Be able to bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Work with a friendly team of specialists to ensure customers receive excellent service.
  • Assist all customers through any issue that may arise during their visit to the store.
  • Be adaptable and positive when faced with situations that require problem-solving skills.

We offer a monthly and quarterly bonus program after the introductory period to all part-time and full-time associates.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
