Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Laboratory Technician is responsible for leading by example and encouraging adherence to our guiding principles and compliance standards. As a Quality Lab Technician, you will be responsible for assigned duties while participating in our continuous improvement projects to broaden our core Quality Assurance functions for Tribe 9 Foods.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, occasional weekend work and overtime may be required.
1st Shift: 6am – 2:30pm, flexible start times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calibrate lab and plant instrumentation
- Perform allergen and pathogen swabbing and analysis
- Assist with shelf life and product development projects.
- deviations.
- Collect and maintain data for supplier and ingredient approval, including specifications and COA’s
- Perform laboratory testing including bacteria plate counts, pH, moisture, etc.
- Monitor quality and food safety control points, and observe monitoring performed by line operators.
- Assist with incident evaluation and follow-up for complaints and quality assurance.
- Maintain documentation system for all aspects of quality and food safety and analyze the data for trends and patterns.
- Other job duties as needed.
