Tricky Foods is a charcuterie board, grazing table, and charcuterie workshop business, founded in 2020 with a passion for food. The tasks of this job will relate to kitchen production (grocery shopping, washing/ cutting produce, cutting cheese, making salami roses, clean up etc) with the end product being charcuterie boxes/ platters and grazing tables.

Grazing tables are what's super popular now and where the extra hands are really needed. These are created on-site at venues or clients' homes. The various sizes can feed from 10- 500 people.

There is an opportunity to take on larger roles/ grow with the business if this is something you are passionate about! We are currently located out of shared kitchen space in Stoughton, WI. We will be moving into our own storefront location located on E Lakeside St in Madison, WI in August 2023.

The Kitchen Production role is primarily Monday- Friday, during normal business hours. 4-6 hour shifts are the average. Typical day includes grocery shopping, making charcuterie boards, and preparing ingredients for catering events. ~2 shifts a week, Wednesday and Friday, starting between 7 and 9AM. (hiring 1 person for up to 15 hours a week).

The Grazing Table Artist role is primarily evenings and weekends with shifts averaging 6-9 hours. Typical day includes arriving at the kitchen to load up car with catering props, greenery, and prepared cold food in coolers. We then drive to the location and setup (between 1-3 hours). While the event is going on (2-4 hours), we either staff the event or you are given free time (paid). Once the event is over, the cleanup process begins. This involves re-loading up the car with the dirty props, bringing them back to the kitchen and doing the dishes. (hiring 1-2 people, depending on availability) .

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
