Tricon is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to be based at Tricon's global headquarters in Houston, TX. This position will report to the Credit Director and offer a hybrid work arrangement.

 Responsibilities 

• Manage credit related activities for assigned products
• Assess and evaluate current and new business opportunities
• Provide support to senior management in risk assessment and decision making
• Liaise with other departments, customers, suppliers, and banks to discuss credit matters and resolve issues
• Analyze counterparties financial statements and authorize or recommend credit limits
• Visit customers to assess credit worthiness and manage collections
• Prepare reports to monitor exposures
• Uphold internal credit policies and procedures

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
• Minimum 7 years' experience in an credit role, preferably in commodity trading
• Multilingual skills a plus
• Highly analytical and able to problem solve
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Detail oriented
• Comfortable being assertive and making tough decisions
• Thrives in a fast paced environment
• Strong technical proficiency in Excel
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools and ERP systems (JD Edwards and Oracle BI a plus)
