Job Title: DevOps Lead
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid-(3 days in office weekly)
Type: Contract (C2C or W2)
Experience: 10 years
Job summary:
• Requires a strong hands-on person with strong trouble shooting, and good organizational skills
• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organization to develop project plans of delivering objects and timelines of model development and implementation.
• Good understanding on Devops, CI/CD integrations & good knowledge about Build and Deployments.
• Implement a system of data quality checks.
• Implement workflow tools and automation to mitigate risks associated with trade planning.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL Databases like MS SQL, Oracle, and Mongo & basic network configuration.
• Have a strong scripting/development (python, perl, etc) background leaning towards automation
• Drive key decisions on design, architecture, and implementation of:
• Real-time liquidity decision support and reporting platform and service
• Build a historical and real-time data management platform
• Design and architect API-driven solutions, utilizing open-source resources.
• Programming well-designed, testable, secure, and efficient code.
Required Skills: DevOps, CI/CD Integration, Python, MS SQL, Oracle, and Mongo & basic network configuration
Nice to have skills: Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
Roles & Responsibilities: Hands on knowledge on Python, DevOps, GIT, Py-Test
1. Analysis, requirement gathering, Design, development. Enhancement, New report design.
2. Enhancement of existing finance reporting process.
3. Coordination with Client's team
4. Working on different kind of enhancement request and new development for these applications
5. Own complete ownership for build and deployment
6. Coordination with different application , networking , and architecting team on need basis to support these applications
7. Interacting with BNYM client on need basis.
8. Working of different POC to replace existing application component which are end of life.
9. Participating in all initiating project planning meeting
10. Work on anything coming as ad-hoc request.
