Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

The CentrePointe Supervisor position is responsible for the technical oversight and daily operations of the Laboratory. Develops policies and procedures, supervises day-to-day operations of lab personnel, and provides training and support for all employees as needed. Works closely with other hospital departments to ensure excellent customer service. Job responsibilities include ensuring compliance with any applicable CAP, AABB, FDA, and JCAHO guidelines and other regulatory agencies as needed.

Position Requirements:

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must be currently registered as Medical Technologist by ASCP.

Education: BS in Medical Technology or Baccalaureate degree plus completion of a NAACLS approved Medical Technology program.

Experience:

Previous laboratory experience required.

Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively meet the needs of the patient/internal & external customer.
