We are currently seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level Solutions Architect to join Trillion in support of a long term contact with the Customs and Border Protection (CBP). This candidate will help to drive the development of the modernized system and with prioritization of future changes while providing the customer with realistic timeframes and expectations. This a hands-on Architect role that may cover all levels of the system. A strong knowledge base and ability to work cooperatively internally and with other teams are necessary.
Location: 100% Remote
Requirements:
5 years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
10 years of non-internship professional software development experience with at least one or more modern language such as C , C#, Java, Python, Javascript, Golang
Job Duties:
Serve as a lead Solution/Innovation Architect providing IT network and system engineering expertise to Program Leadership, and technical staff in migrating legacy application to AWS Cloud. Collaborate with end user facing teams and stakeholders to identify, design, and implement tailored solutions and innovations.
Develop and present technical "white papers", briefings, and demos for internal and external clients/stakeholders as related to legacy application migration, AWS native cloud and hybrid designs.
Advocate effective architectural design patterns, optimize current architecture, designs, and processes.
Possess good written and verbal communication skills, strong collaboration, coordination, and facilitation skills.
