The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) will report to the EVP-Chief Operating Officer. The CMO will be a key member of the executive team which sets the overall strategic direction of the Company. The CMO will serve as the face of the Company to the medical community and health authorities. The CMO will become a key spokesman for Trilogy at a national level by speaking at key industry forums and taking leadership role(s) within key association(s) supported by the Company.
The primary role will be to provide leadership, direction, guidance, and input for medical activities provided at our campuses. The CMO will have direct responsibility for the relationships and performance of the Medical Directors in each campus; QAPI process; clinical informatics and clinical protocols. The CMO will collaborate and provide medical insight into clinical/operations; Compliance, Regulatory and Risk Management; coordinate with Synchrony Health and other ancillary services to ensure compliance with Trilogy standards and protocols; co-lead the Trilogy Way Council -Clinical Innovation with the Chief Nursing Officer.
Partner with other members of the executive team on overall strategic planning
Ensure effective and efficient medical and clinical policies and procedures are in place for respective areas of responsibility and compliance with all regulatory requirements

Represent the Company and its programs to external audiences, including the investment, medical and regulatory communities, hospitals/ACOs, insurance companies, as well as pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, collaborators, and partners
Select and manage an elite portfolio of innovative products for pilots and ultimate implementation through the Trilogy Way Council-Clinical Innovation.
Support due diligence on licensing and business development opportunities and evaluate technical, medical, and commercial merit of potential programs and assets
MD with Board Certification required; Board Certification in Geriatrics
A minimum of 10 years management experience in both skilled nursing and senior housing overseeing the quality of care and physician relations in multiple facilities/multiple states; management experience in long- term care with Value-Based Programs, ACOs, capitation models and related care managements programs highly preferred.
