CENTURION SERVICE GROUP - A TRIMEDX COMPANY
Manages daily activities of warehouse and Warehouse Associates. Coordinates communications between logistics, accounting, all warehouse associates, and buyers.
Where applicable, maintains the workflow of the auction sales process by managing the individuals and groups to achieve the established goals. The main objective is to meet the recurring deadlines for auction set-up and inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Manage all warehouse operations and activities, including delegating assignments to all Warehouse Associates.
- Receive and process incoming products by unloading incoming trucks, complying with all applicable safety standards.
- Assign barcode with appropriate seller number based on electronic and paperwork records obtained from logistics manager and/or from CRM system.
- Inventory and categorize the equipment according to the internal standards outlined in the booklet.
- Set-up the auction sales based on the proven methodology (category order, price high to low).
- Communicate all shipments received to logistics manager.
- Reconcile the inventory sent by the seller/hospital with the actual and physical inventory received by the warehouse to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- Cross-reference inventory with the photographs to create the auction catalogue.
- Provide auction highlights to the marketing team to increase the product exposure.
- Assist buyers with equipment removal and work closely with the operations, logistics, and accounting departments to confirm all invoices are fully paid prior and schedule for the removal
- Maintain accurate inventory records in IMS and conduct inventory and auction true-ups and reconciliations.
- Overseeand maintain warehouse inventory spacewith focus on cleanliness, safety, OSHA compliance, and regulations.
- Leadership: Provide clear direction to ensure collective achievement of goals and objectives. Create an environment of respect, collaboration, and open communication.
- Associate Development: Identify and support development needs of direct reports and team members including connecting them to resources both internally and externally to ensure a culture of continuous improvement.
- Associate Engagement: Create high levels of employee engagement by understanding organizational and personal drivers that impact drivers and developing action plans that deliver increased engagement.
- Performance Management: Set clear goals and expectations for teams, monitor, and enable performance and intervene with appropriate action when performance gaps occur and provide timely, honest feedback. Ensure that associates complete assigned actions by required deadlines.
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience
- Extensive knowledge of business operations, preferably within medical equipment sales or distribution.
- Overcomes obstacles to cooperation and fosters harmonious relationships by creatively and strategically leading mediation and negotiation among individuals and groups, internally and externally.
- Strategically collaborates and effectively works with customers and cross functional teams across the organization to obtain buy-in and consensus.
- Strategic and analytic thinker who prioritizes and manages their time, while managing multiple competing priorities with concurrent and competing deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must, with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex matters in an efficient and accurate manner, turning strategic thoughts into actionable plans.
- Experience in building, mentoring and coaching a team.
- Participates or leads in negotiation and reconciliation processes.
- Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions or approaches to problems.
- Manages material resources by obtaining and appropriately using equipment, facilities, and materials.
- Maintains customer service orientation by actively looking for ways to help customers and coworkers.
- Understands the workflow, maintaining a focus on details while keeping track of the big picture.
- Excellent computer skills; proficient using Microsoft Office suite and CRM tools.
Education and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 3 years of professional experience in inventory, logistics and personnel management.
- 1-year warehouse experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical equipment preferred.
- Desire to work in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively delegate, follow-up and communicate with all levels of the company.
