Position Summary:
Specific duties of a Plant Manager include ensuring that the plant meets shipping, production and profitability goals; handling all the administrative issues relating to plant; overseeing the performance of production/warehouse staff; ensuring that the production/warehouse meets certain quality goals; providing training opportunities to the staff.
- Oversee Operations to ensure Plant and Employee safety.

- Help establish plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluates processes; applying knowledge of product, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
- Develops processes by studying product requirements; researching, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.
- Recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives in order increase on-time delivery, quality, efficiency, organization, and safety.
- Improves manufacturing/warehouse efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, organization, and equipment layout.
- Provides decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing schedules; estimating future requirements.
- Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services, following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures.
- Oversees the maintenance of building, equipment and plant security and protection.
- Ensure shipping/receiving functions are completed and performed to company standards.
- Manages product and process database systems.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Responsible for supervising the activities of product teams or staff in a manufacturing / warehouse area.
- Assesses personnel and material levels to determine schedules.
- Assigns personnel and monitors the flow of work in process through the warehouse.
- Helps establish operating policies and procedures, coordination of multiple functions within a facility, helps establish strategic plans to ensure production schedules are met within established quality and cost objectives.
- Plans and schedules daily tasks', uses judgment on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices.
- Responsible for overall safety of personnel, company assets, and the surrounding environment.
- Support and enforce all company policies and procedures that relate to Plant Manager’s areas of authority.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Having working experience in production management, familiar with manufacturing / warehouse environment.
- Demonstrate passion in managing and leading diverse groups to deliver quality output safely.
- Able to provide leadership to resolve problems and require strong process knowledge.
- Able to motivate and develop workforce to meet business challenges.
- Plant Managershould have strong skills in handling computers and softwarerelated to general manager job such as:
- MS office (MS word, MS excel).
- Company issued electronic mail programs such as MS outlook.
- Any applicable schedule software
- Door manufacturing experience desired, but not required.
Reasoning Ability:
- A Plant Manager should apply common sense to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or in graph/diagrammatic form.
- Good mathematical skills & know how to apply it to interpret financial information & budgets preparation.
- Ability to Read, understand & interpret different documents of business records and statistical reports of company.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
