Loan Operations Analyst

Overview
We are seeking a Loan Operations Analyst to assist the Loan Operations team and a leading third-party client in the Commercial Real Estate Industry.
 
Principal Responsibilities
•    Review asset collection information for accuracy and alignment with system accrual. 
•    Compare warehouse, asset-specific financing, and subline lending invoices to system of record. 
•    Review, approve, and book monthly and quarterly remittance information into system. 
•    Obtain approvals and prepare wire memos for Borrower draws, counterparty expenses, and intercompany funds movement. 
•    Reconcile daily cash activity to activity recorded into system. 
•    Review pre-closing investment loan documentation and assist with initial onboarding processes for new real estate investments.
•    Enter and upload loan and debt ownership transfer transaction activity into system for new securitization closings and repurchase obligation / warehouse lending activity.
•    Review loan modification and maturity extension documentation and record new terms into system.  
•    Interact directly with Asset Managers, Servicers, and Banking Counterparties.
•    Prepare support for internal workflow submissions related to subline borrowing, new asset onboarding, new wiring instruction on boarding. 
•    Monitor monthly cash receipts for investments and perform preliminary month over month and quarter over quarter review of asset and liability performance
•    Prepare and finalize confirmation statements for assets financed on repurchase facilities. 
•    Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly certification reporting.
•    Participate in daily team calls and weekly investment vehicle meetings.

Required Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Real Estate
•    1-3 years’ experience in Commercial Real Estate, Loan Servicing, or Real Estate  
•    High standards and ability to meet time sensitive deadlines 
•    Strong excel skills
•    Pro-active and personally accountable; willing to take responsibility
•    Adaptable and decisive; adapts to and focuses on priorities at hand
•    The successful applicant for this position must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications
•    Commercial real estate reporting, remittance, or loan servicing related experience
•    Experience with warehouse / repurchase facilities
•    Familiarity with foreign currency assets; GBP, EUR, AUD, CAD, SEK, DKK
•    Understanding of index re-sets LIBOR, SOFR, SONIA, EURIBOR  
•    Exposure to Real Estate Loan documentation
