Responsibilities:
- Optimize production processes and drive operational excellence.
- Ensure smooth production operations, enhance efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Resolve daily production issues that arise by providing technical expertise to area operators.
- Support key capital projects and assist with implementing capital expenditure plans (CapEx).
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams, to drive initiatives and goals.
- Set and achieve goals in areas, including environmental, health, and safety performance, product quality, equipment performance and reliability, daily production targets, productivity, and stable operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of chemical engineering with 5 years of production or process experience in the chemical industry.
- Familiarity with EHS requirements paired with strong safety and EHS awareness.
- Strong in strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in organizing and analyzing process data, utilizing statistical analysis, and troubleshooting complex chemical processes.
- High awareness of responsibility and costs in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Sound digital control systems (DCS) knowledge.
- Preferences: Six Sigma, knowledge of the SAP functional module, new production experience.
