Medical Scheduler | Tulsa, OK
Monday - Friday 8-5
In need of a scheduler/referral clerk.
We need someone with referral and scheduling experience, with a great personality and energetic.
This would be a full-time position with medical, dental, and other benefits.
Work time: 8am -5pm with a one hour lunch from 12-1, at our 68th & Yale location . $15-16 depending on experience
The job entails:
* Answering the phone for large physician office
* Scheduling for doctors and other departments
* Calling patients to schedule for appointment after we receive a referral
* Calling patients to reschedule appointment-
* Checking out patients and collection co-pays & making follow up appointments
* Learning what insurance companies we are contracted with and verifying we are contracted prior to scheduling appointment
* Daily batches with monies balancing at end of each day

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Tulsa, OK: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
- Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
