Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, a member of Trinity Health, Mid-Atlantic, is looking for Scheduling Specialist to join our team! The Call Center Scheduling Specialist is responsible for coordinating timely and accurate appointment scheduling across the Mercy Health enterprise with expertise in scheduling protocols, insurance requirements and accurate collection and verification of pre-registration needs. Schedule: Part-time (up to 24 hours/week)Shift: DaysThe Call Center Scheduling Specialist: Is responsible for complex appointment scheduling functions.Is able to handle high priority lines and achieve exceptional ongoing QA scores and exceed productivity metrics.Has advanced knowledge in registration systems and is a subject matter expert in insurance guidelines.Knowledge of managing special service lines such as physician referrals, marketing initiatives as well as population health initiatives.Is able to handle additional tasks and projects while maintaining productivity metrics and balancing multiple tasks while ensuring access levels into the Call Center.Is able to provide training to new staff and has demonstrated ability to be a resource to newer staff.Has excellent customer service skills in understanding customer needsFosters positive interactions with leadership and peersConsistently recognizes and respects diverse patient and employee populations.Qualifications: HS diploma or equivalency [required]2-4 years college/vocational education [preferred]Knowledge/experience in healthcare [preferred]Knowledge of medical terminology [preferred]We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, & Vision CoverageRetirement Savings ProgramPaid Time OffTuition ReimbursementFree ParkingAnd more!Our Commitment to Diversity and InclusionTrinity Health is a family of 115,000 colleagues and nearly 26,000 physicians and clinicians across 25 states.
