Position Purpose
CRNA shall directly provide all professional anesthesiology services and/or supervise and manage anesthesiology services for the benefit of individual Hospital patients, as may be required to meet Hospital’s requirements for such services in a timely manner through scheduled or “on call” coverage, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
What You Will Do
- General anesthesia, including general surgical anesthesia, pediatric anesthesia, thoracic anesthesia and obstetrical anesthesia; intravenous sedation; intravenous regional anesthesia; regional blocks; and conductive anesthesia, as required by Hospital’s patients (including inpatients, surgical outpatients and those receiving emergency care.)
- In addition, CRNA shall:
- Provide pre-evaluation anesthesia services in accordance with guidelines approved by both Group and Hospital.
- Provide post-surgical monitoring for complications related to the administration of anesthesia; and
- Respond promptly to those codes to which an anesthesia provider is specifically paged, as practitioner availability permits.
- Clinical Services provided by CRNA shall be performed in accordance with currently approved and generally accepted medical standards, as may be changed from time to time.
- Works collaboratively with members of the OR Leadership Team, Anesthesia Providers, and clinical staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- Maintain professional licensure of CRNA.
- Preferred experience with minimum of five years as CRNA
- Must be BLS certified within 3 months of hire.
- Must be ACLS, PALS and NRP certified within one year of hire.
- Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
