Job Summary:

The person will need to have knowledge of medical terminology, be able to type fast, have good listening skills, pay attention to detail, fast turn around with patient notes, strong skills with spelling, grammar and be able to construct comprehensive accurate documentation for the patient’s chart. Be able to stand long period of time moving from patient to patient and be able to work in a fast pace environment to keep up with the provider. Need to be available to stay some late nights during clinic hours.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications
* High school diploma
* Type 40 words per minute
* Ability to operate office equipment (copier, fax machine)
* Minimum of one year medical record experience.

* A Medical Transcriptionist certification is preferred or experience with scribing/typing for a provider.
