Follows established procedures and guidelines while performing a wide variety of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examinations. Produces high quality diagnostic images. Helps maintain an orderly and clean work environment and, on occasion, performs routine clerical tasks.Mercy Health Saint Mary's Position Summary:
Performs mammography examinations according to established procedures and guidelines. Performs and records the results of Quality Assurance and Quality control procedures in accordance with Federal, State, and accreditation governing bodies.
EducationMinimum:Completion of American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) approved Radiologic TechnologyProgram.PreferredBachelor’s of Science degree (BS)
Credentials/Licensure : minimumAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification; registry eligible in mammography. Must maintain 24 continuing education credits per biennium to maintain registry status. Certification or re-certification in Basic Life support (BLS) within three months of hire. PreferredAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in mammography. Must maintain 15continuing education credits per three years in Mammography to maintain registry.
Related Experience: minimum One year of experience as a Registered Radiographer. Registry eligible in mammography. PreferredOne year of mammography experience including 3D mammography.
