Reporting to the Supervisor Central Transportation, Central Transportation, this position is responsible for facilitating the efficient andtimely movement of patients and related customers and materials throughout the Medical Center, based on direction from the Support
Services Representative dispatch team. This includes lifting and transferring patients to and from automobiles, wheelchairs, gurneys,
and patient beds, as well as transporting throughout the Medical Center.
1. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
2. Ability to communicate and follow verbal and written instructions is required.
3. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
4. Previous healthcare experience is preferred.
5. Learning proper lifting and transferring techniques when moving patients, using gurneys, wheelchairs and patient beds, lifting and
transferring equipment and operating communication equipment are required.
Pay Range: $15.80-22.12
