Trinity Highway Products is hiring a Human Resources Professional in our Pell City, AL plant!
This person will perform a full range of HR activities in the areas of Staffing/Recruitment, Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits and Training.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in the administration of all employee benefit programs
- Coordinate training programs
- Understand and implement company policies
- Offer guidance to managers in disciplinary actions and terminations in compliance with company policy and legal requirements
- Assess employee morale and make recommendations to improve
- Collaborate with recruiting team to fill vacant roles
- Process employee paperwork
- Maintain employee attendance/disciplinary tracking
- Coordinate and administer employee orientation and onboarding of new employees
- Plan and execute HR activities such as holiday events, lunches, plant tours, etc.
- Oversee basic facility functions such as maintenance of office equipment, vending services, uniform services, etc.
- Retain records
- Perform routine office functions including ordering office supplies, processing mail, answering phones, etc.
What You'll Need:
- Degree in a Human Resources related field or ability to complete degree within 6 months of hire
- Exposure to an administrative environment
- Ability to flex between an office and heavy manufacturing setting
- Digital Literacy skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Predictable and reliable attendance
