Job Description:

The core responsibility of a Drilling/Production Rig Safety Consultant is supervision of day-to-day drilling and production rig site operations on behalf of the contract operating company. These individuals ensure the safety of all personnel on location while successfully executing the operator’s drilling and production plan and reaching target depth and well service expectations as quickly and safely as possible. The Drilling/Production Rig Safety Consultant reports directly to the Regional EHS Director and/or Vice President of Trinity Safety Company.

Specific Job Requirements (Include but not limited to):

• Serve as primary safety liaison between contractors and producers.
• Provides health and safety support to drilling, construction and production operations.
• Ensures operations are conducted in accordance with producer safety and environmental standards, government regulations and drilling safety policies and procedures.
• Managing day-to-day activities of rig contractor personnel and third-party contractors.
• Maintaining daily activity reports, contractor evaluations and other reports as required.
• Coordinating with contractors to ensure necessary safety services and equipment are available when needed.
• Conferring with supervisor and engineers and making recommendations to optimize field operations and ensure effective teamwork between office and field personnel
• Oversees Incident management and investigations.
• Participates in audits of assets and supports operations in implementation of required corrective actions
• Supports all operations to ensure the company is as efficient and productive as possible and performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

• 5 Years of proven Drilling and/or Production Rig Operations experience (preferably in the Oil & Gas/ Renewable Energy sectors)
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
