Front End Developer

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid or remote role for a Frontend Engineer. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining external and internal frontends, single page applications and tools, working with existing projects, and building new tools and features as needs are identified.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience – 3 years

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Health Informatics, or Data Science Field
• Framework experience with React, Vue, Svelte, Webpack, Vite
• Experience building vanilla frontends (HTML/CSS/JS), and knowing when to use vanilla versus a framework
• Languages: Javascript/ES6, Python, CSS/SCSS/LESS, HTML
• D3, Plot, or other equivalent visualization frameworks
• Experience developing with data, charts, and other visualizations
• Experience iterating and protoyping with code, and a track record of taking a frontend from concept to launch
• Git, Bash
• Authentication
• Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud experience

· Focus on a portfolio of diseases, and implement code, sql scripts, tooling, field feasibility requests

· Quick, pragmatic, simple solutions inside 1-3 week delivery increments, iterative and feedback-based

· Team player, collaboration with team and broader group, able to find consensus across colleagues and stakeholders, develop productive relationships with colleagues

· Ability to work with general and sometimes ambiguous requirements and objectives and break down technical work

· Ability to align work with strategic objectives

· Desire to work with multiple technology implementations

· Experience with Kanban or Scrum methodologies

· Experience working with healthcare data, familiarity with practical privacy and security methods used within HIPAA for PHI

· Track record of high quality on time delivery, adoption of solutions, initiative and professional curiosity

Desirable

• Tableau or Microsoft PowerBI experience
• SQL and/or REST API experience
• Prior history working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) data, LOINC mapping, ICD9/10 coding
• Located near Boulder, CO

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
