What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ultrasonographer (Registered) position at Trios Health?
Under the direction of the Director of Imaging Services and the Radiologists, performs all Ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Communicates with Lead Sonographer on a daily basis. Performs a variety of procedures that require independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative. Performs and evaluates sonographic examinations and physiologic vascular testing. Obtains clinical history and performs a physical assessment of the patient's condition to determine appropriate testing protocol. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness to insure aseptic conditions. Responsible for producing, accessing, and evaluating images and related data used by physicians to render a medical diagnosis of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Responsible for providing a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. Follows KPHD rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws and standards. Minimum Requirements: Associate's Degree or equivalent, 6 months to one year related job experience, AHA HCP card (BLS), Certifications: ARDMS, RVT, RDCS.
