What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Compensation position at TripActions?
This role will require close partnership with People Managers and People Success Business Partners as they work to attract and retain talent across all of our global offices. The right candidate is excited about thinking creatively about the best way to implement and design compensation programs as we look to effectively scale our business. What You'll Do
- Lead the administration portion of several compensation processes in close collaboration with our Director, Total Rewards
- Be data driven. Conduct simple and complex analysis of jobs, salaries, stock and incentive awards ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness
- Participate in global market pricing activities, analyzing market data to develop and maintain cash compensation ranges and equity ranges
- Conduct ad hoc benchmarking analysis as needed for new or changing roles or to address specific market concerns
- Identify, recommend, and implement revisions to our compensation programs when they no longer meet the needs of our business.
- Lead or participate in other compensation-related projects and activities.
- Assist with preparing training and communication materials
- Prepare and submit data to third-party survey(s)
What We're Looking For
- Willingness to build from scratch. Providing feedback on current processes and taking action to improve where possible
- Proven success in market pricing and knowledge of global job architecture mechanics
- Demonstrated understanding of wage and salary administration. Experience supporting teams globally is a big plus
- Experience with compensation analysis tools & surveys, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with job analysis, benchmarking and market pricing. Experience with Radford a plus
- High energy level. Self- starter; willing to take initiative.
- Advanced Excel skills are required to analyze data and create meaningful, understandable models and reports; ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making
- Must be organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong communication skills and ability to partner and work cross-functionally
- 7 years experience in in-house Compensation teams, preferably serving organizations with 1500 employees
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, and a strong attention to detail
- Comfort working in a ultra fast paced environment
The posted pay range represents the low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.
For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.
Pay Range
Salary : $123,750 - $205,000
