Founded in 1990 by Mr. Eduardo Gutierrez and operating as The Student Alternatives Program, we rebranded in 2019 to Triumph Public High Schools. We specialize in serving high school students who are placed at-risk in completing their high school education. Responsibilities: The custodian helps ensures the school’s buildings and grounds are maintained in a safe, clean, and sanitary manner. He/she is responsible for dusting, sweeping, mopping floor, sanitizing restroom fixtures, etc. If within his/her capabilities, during winter, spring, and/or summer break, he/she may be asked to strip and wax the floors. Ensures air conditioners and water heater is properly maintained and, if needed, replaced. Replaces light bulbs as needed and performs other duties as requested.
This position may require some occasional work on Saturday’s, over the summer and some travel within the state of Texas.
Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. Must possess basic skills for building/ground maintenance using and proper cleaning products and equipment
- Ability to perform minor repairs preferred
- Must use cleaning liquids in accordance with instructions for usage
- Must have at least one year of experience in the field.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required
- Ability to read, write and understand English required
- Required to pass a pre-employment fingerprinting as part of the background check
- Required to submit original college transcripts, service records and credentials within first 30 days of employment

Pay Range Based on Education, Experience, Certifications and/or Credentials:
$16,544 to $21,296 per year
*Annually salary is calculated at a prorated rate from effective date of hire
