Position Overview
Receive all parts/supplies and update and sustain inventory levels, assist in the administration of the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), including software support. Comply with all safety requirements and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Keep spare parts in good condition and under the location system. Ensure that the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software data files are completed and current and provide technical support and training when needed.
Areas of Focus
Understand & practice the Quality policy, assist in the administration of the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), including software support, perform daily receiving/stocking cycle counting. Sustain First In – First Out (FIFO) system in good shape, work with vendors for purchasing of repair and/or replacement parts, maintain and advises on the use and disposition of stock items, surplus items, and rental equipment.

Responsibilities
- Assure all purchases are completed and requisitions updated properly
- Ensure that the parts are charged to the correct cost center
- Create and maintain daily logs and necessary inspection report
- Provide general office duties as needed
- Move parts from area and complete appropriate documentation
- Prepare requisitions and obtain proper authorization for purchases when needed
- Give out and receive parts as need it and fill customer requirements
- Use the forklift to complete tasks as required
- Assist with the daily housekeeping of the facility
- Understand and follow Work Instructions
- Follow and maintain Lean activities (5S, good Housekeeping, Hygiene)
- Be at workstation on time
- Leave workstation on time, unless otherwise instructed by the supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
- High school or GED preferred
- Forklift certification
- Valid CA Driver’s License and current liability insurance
- 2-3 years’ experience in purchasing (preferably in an industrial environment)
- Advanced Excel skills required
