Material Handler- Level 2 is responsible for finding material on shelves, pulling materials off the trucks and putting them in their proper storage spot, wrapping products and making them ready for shipment.

Material Handler- Level 2 is responsible for finding material on shelves, pulling materials off the trucks and putting them in their proper storage spot, wrapping products and making them ready for shipment.
Responsibilities
- Distribution of activities that are conducted in accordance with International Standards Organization (ISO) 9001 while maintaining a safe work environment
- Timely and efficient movement of materials to and from the production line to facilitate an efficient manufacturing process
- Assure material movement and inventory changes are appropriately and precisely tracked
- Operate machinery and perform minor adjustments or setup
- Utilize RF scanner to maintain accurate inventory transfers from/to warehouse and/or manufacturing plant and to record number of units of material moved or handled during shift
- Complete reports or inspection sheets as instructed
- Stock, move, arrange, and rotate items in accordance with operating instructions (Adherence to FIFO Policies and Protocols)
- Complete appropriate forms relating to stock description, quantity, unit of measure, and the labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materials
- Ability to use hand and/or power tools, such as (hammers, cutting saws, nail gun, etc.)
- Identify different products and attached identifying tags or label to materials or mark information on pallets
- Successfully complete power equipment certification
- Follow and maintain Lead activities and 5S
- Stage multiple orders for shipment according to appropriate loading patterns, weight distribution, method of shipment, etc.
- Coordinate, process, and ship hazardous waste, scrap, etc., in accordance with regulatory requirements
- High School Diploma, GED
- Manufacturing experience
- Forklift certification
- Lift 50lbs plus
