Rio Verde Country Club is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Events to lead our events department. As the cornerstone of our club's social gatherings, this role demands creativity, meticulous planning, and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences. Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Execution:
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of events, from conceptualization and planning through to coordination and post-event evaluation, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for attendees.
- Implement efficient systems for event booking, member communication, and feedback collection, ensuring the events team can effectively respond to member needs and preferences.
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute a wide range of events, including golf tournament, social gatherings, Holiday celebrations, and events tailored to member interests ensuring each event is executed flawlessly from inception to completion.
- Work closely with members and Associations to understand their needs, preferences, and objectives, providing personalized service and tailored event solutions.
Team Leadership and Management:
- As part of the Food & Beverage leadership at the club, lead and motivate the events team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to ensure staff are well-informed and equipped to deliver outstanding service.
Vendor and Stakeholder Relations:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality services and products are delivered consistently.
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure events are delivered within budget and exceed expectations.
Budget Management and Reporting:
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide regular reports and analyses on event performance, revenues, and expenses, using data to inform future event strategies.
Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events, leveraging social media, email marketing, and other channels to maximize attendance and engagement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations, incorporating fresh ideas and cutting-edge technologies to enhance event offerings.
