Description
Capital Canyon Country Club is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of part-time
Personal Trainer / Fitness Instructor. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be
highly focused on providing superior service to our members.
Key Responsibilities
Guides members through initial and progressive training in the areas of flexibility, aerobic
conditioning and strength training.
- Instructs fitness classes to include aerobics, strength training and TRX classes each week.
- Teaches proper stretching, strengthening and aerobic exercise.
- Insures proper, up-to-date and safe procedures are used in the teaching of all classes.
- Participates in continuing education seminars and workshops.
- Inspects exercise equipment and areas for cleanliness and safety. Performs light custodial
duties such as wipes down equipment, monitors cleanliness in pool area, spa, and fitness center.
- Enforces all rules and regulations in a polite and professional manner.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Reaches out to new members and offers Personal Training and Rehab services and books
consultation sessions for new members.
- Acquires and retains a client load for Personal Training sessions.
- Ensures sessions are booked / billed correctly in designated POS software.
- Maintains a positive attitude and brings energy to the club.
Minimum Qualifications :
Associate’s degree (AA) in Physical Education or related field; and six months to one year related
experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Qualifications :
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Experience and exposure with wide variety of exercise equipment, instructional techniques,
injury prevention, fitness / wellness counseling, and developing / interpreting personalized
fitness / wellness regimens.
