What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loss Prevention Mgr position at Tropic Oil?
- Oversees the installation of new security equipment such as surveillance cameras, mirrors, and electronic security devices.
Identifies, recommends, and implements systems to minimize loss of merchandise, money, or company assets.
Ensures surveillance and security equipment is functioning properly by conduction periodic inspections of stores.
Monitors inventory to identify theft or shortages.
Investigates and audits sources of known losses.
Investigates suspicious customer and/or employee activity.
Prepares reports on the effectiveness of established processes and preventive measures.
Researches, advises, and implements additional security measures.
Follows and enforce all Parkland USA’s policies and established procedures.
Employee must demonstrate safe work and risk management practices. Communicate and enforce all safety and security issues. Report and process all employee and/or customer incidents or unsafe acts in accordance with Parkland USA’s POEMS policies and procedure.
Ensure that confidentiality of data collected and stored are maintained.
Employee is expected to set priorities and meet deadlines.
Must meet performance expectations. Must complete all duties as assigned
Frequent travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.
