Title Review Processor
Trott Law, P.C. is looking for qualified applicants that are detail orientated with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills as well as proven exceptional interpersonal skills. This full-time position entails researching real estate documents, examining/reviewing titles and documentation such as mortgages, liens, judgments, plat maps, tax information, and summarizing recorded documents that affect property titles, in addition to other duties, as assigned.
The Ideal candidate will have a good understanding of title, a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and be detail intensive oriented.
Qualifications:
- One (1) year of title processing, examining or related experience is preferred.
- Ability to handle a large volume of files and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
- Analytical thinking, research ability and attention to detail.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team and be able to multitask.
- Qualified candidates must demonstrate excellent computer, organizational and time management skills.
- Possess experience in all aspects of title - be able to analyze and understand chain of title and defects in the chain
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing client requirements
- Superior decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail as you read and extract information from the documents, then enter that information into a report or software without error.
- Clear and concise writing skills, the ability to translate complicated title situations into simple-to-understand explanations for the client
Duties:
- Examining title reports to determine property ownership, lien priority, outstanding taxes and other delinquent amounts and defects in title.
- Updating firm and client systems with title summaries.
- Communicating with clients, courts, insurance companies and outside law firms.
- Communicating with internal Attorneys to cure title issues
