As a part of the Trove Brands Finance team, you will collaborate across the organization to help analyze results and play an integral role in pricing processes. This new role requires an understanding of finance, an interest in learning about the business, as well as a strong analytical mindset and curiosity. You will support the business through financial modeling, fact-based analyses, and the interpretation of key business results and financial trends. You will partner across all departments in analyzing business results including COGS, logistics, warehouse, and SG&A. The position requires a highly motivated self-starter who is extremely analytical and has excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with multiple teams.
Every role at Trove Brands is critical to our successful functioning as a whole. Your specific responsibilities as a part of Team Trove will include:
- Identify ideal pricing structures. Manage standardized price lists and pricing exceptions
- Draft strategic pricing plans and processes to improve existing projects
- Create reports reflecting key metrics and projects
- Perform competitor analysis and present results to cross-functional executives
- Proactively recommend opportunities based on category/competitor trends
- Communicate findings effectively to relevant departments of the company
- Address issues and concerns raised by team members relating to pricing suggestions
- Other projects as needed
We seek team members who are adept at contributing their personal expertise to a collaborative work environment. For this role, we’re looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
- 1-3 years of experience as a pricing and/or financial analyst in the consumer goods industry
- Familiarity with standard data reporting tools (SQL Server, Oracle, Domo, Tableau)
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge (or willingness to learn) about the category including competitors and market trends
- Effective reporting and presentation skills, including comfort delivering results to C-Suite executives
