Job Summary:
As an HR Admin Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of HR and organization operations and administration. This internship offers an opportunity to develop essential skills in recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and HR compliance. You will work closely with HR professionals, contributing to projects and initiatives that support the organization's human capital strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Inputting information into databases, spreadsheets, and other software systems accurately and efficiently.
- Maintaining electronic filing systems, organizing documents, and ensuring information is easily retrievable.
- Drafting and formatting emails, letters, memos, and other documents as required.
- Scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for multiple personnel.
- Handling sensitive information with discretion and ensuring confidentiality protocols are followed.
- Assist in updating HR policies and procedures manuals as needed.
- Participate in HR projects related to process improvement and efficiency.
- Supporting efforts to maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance purposes.
- Assisting with research, data analysis, and presentation preparation for HR-related projects.
- Other ad hoc projects as required
Duration and Compensation:
- This internship is a 3-month part-time position, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
- Compensation may include a stipend in the form of access to HR events and opportunities for professional development.
Education and Experience Required:
- Currently enrolled in an Associate’s degree program, preferably in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience with MS 365 and Google Suite.
Education and Experience Preferred:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program.
- 3 years of experience with MS Office applications.
- Expert level with MS Excel.
- Prior internship experience in HR, Business Administration, or related fields.
Additional Skills and Abilities:
- Must possess the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team structure.
- Must communicate professionally and clearly in written and verbal format.
- Must have a strong interest in pursuing a career in human resources or business administration.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

- Must be able to occasionally move and lift office equipment and materials up to 25 pounds.
