LVN
We are currently seeking a LVN to join our assisted living team at one of our RCFE (Residential Care Facility for the Elderly). LVN is primarily responsible for the wellness and care provided to our residents. The LVN is also responsible for the training and continued education of all direct care support staff members within our facility.
Qualifications (non-negotiable):
- Able to pass DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing
- Able to pass pre employment physical and drug screening
- High school diploma or GED required
- Flexible scheduling. Position may include weekends and holidays
- Experience medication administration preferred
Job Description:
- Responsible for the overall wellness of the residents
- Administer medication in accordance to Title 22 regulations of the California Administrative Code
- Provide orientation, initial, and continued education training to new medication technicians and direct care staff members
- Assist with the admittance and eviction process of residents. Provide support to administrator with resident transfers and/or challenges
- Monitor resident’s medication administration records and report any errors to the Administrator. Progressive documentation and communication with physician and/or medical professional
- Order and reorder medication for residents, following explicit physician instructions.
- Ensure residents stay stress free as much as possible by working with medical professionals
- Maintains good composure during emergencies
- Additional duties as assigned by Administration
