What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Administrator position at Truck Country, Inc.?
The Sales Administrator assists the sales department in various administrative, clerical and computer tasks. Greet customers and answer sales phone calls in timely, professional manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in order of priority):
- Greet and direct visitors/customers to appropriate sales individuals or departments.
- Assigns walk-in floor sales calls as necessary.
- Answers sales phone calls when sales individuals are unavailable.
- Performs general administrative and clerical duties.
- Performs various computer work as requested.
- Maintains positive, professional attitude at all times.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
- Regular punctual on-site attendance required.
- Performs daily deposits, cash schedules, and cash schedule journal entries
- Performs driver payroll
- Sorts fuel receipts, issue PO's for Sales, and once a month compiles and codes fuel statements
- Ensures Freightliner Reports are printed, emailed, and updated in Procede
- Runs deposits to the bank
- Inputs MSO's
- Checks in new and used trucks, updates Procede, downloads transporter receipt into Procede, tag keys, prints window stickers, and writes them up for shop with assistance of lot coordinator (unless used truck as lot coordinator would handle)
- Updates truck movements into Procede
- Updates new trucks weekly if truck arrives at body builder (Body Builder Bailments)
- Processes truck sales into Arcadium and prints off or emails sales person
- Creates stock # in Arcadium
- Downloads weekly lot checks with lot coordinator
- Reviews weekly lot checks to ensure all trucks are accounted for, and if not, updates Procede
- Processes Profit Sheets, Titles, and MSO's through appropriate coordination
- Updates all warranties, extended warranties, retail sales (New Trucks), and brand value reports (Used Trucks)
- Updates spreadsheets accordingly
Physical & Mental Requirements:
- Able to work under conditions of periodic mental stress, concentrating on several issues at once.
- Able to sit frequently and for long durations
- Able to use problem-solving skills, interpret data, organize and plan and communicate by speaking and writing
- Able to make decisions based on logic and company protocol and procedures
Education, Skills and Knowledge Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service or dealership experience is preferred.
- Basic PC computer skills are required.
- The ability to communicate well with different types of individuals, both internally and externally.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, customer service-oriented personality and attitude.
