What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Diesel Technician (Levels 1-9) position at Truck Masters?
The General Technician will be responsible for repairing and maintaining diesel engine industrial trucks according to manufacturer specification under general supervision, and will receive on-the -job training in a development program to achieve Journeyperson status.
Requirements:
- Minimum one year related experience and/or training
- Computer skills and experience preferred
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Valid Driver's License, CDL is a plus
- A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector Certifications required
- Must be able to lift a minimum ok 50 pounds, must be able to walk around shop floor and exterior yard area (long periods standing / walking), requires mobility to easily access and egress trucks
- Must be willing and able to work various shifts, possibly including weekends
- Must be willing and able to work overtime when required
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
