Job Description:
We are currently looking for a truck accessory installer. Needs to be capable of installing steps, toolboxes, camper shells, bed liners... This position may also at times help with manufacturing custom accessories like toolboxes. This position may also at times help with customer sales. This individual will complete projects, tasks and duties in a timely manner with a high-level of competency. This position has future potential for growth and promotion within the company.
Job Role:
Many of the duties will include but are not limited to: installing accessories on trucks, off site installation of parts, organizing and cleaning the shop tools, overseeing projects, bending metals, and working with the shop supervisor on all other duties and tasks as required.
Required Skills:
- Ability to follow direction, systems, and process put in place by the company and/or management
- Accomplish tasks in a timely manner while maintaining a high consistency of quality
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Organizational skills and abilities
- Ability to follow direction outlined by supervisor through different methods of communication
- Basic knowledge of automobiles, trucks and functions
- Intermediate level of computer skills
- Must have reliable transportation
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to hold to a schedule both as an employee as well as project scopes
Preferred Skills:
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Basic knowledge of CAD products
- Forklift driving experience
- Welder
