Schedule 9:00AM - 5:00PM, 40 hours per week
We are helping our client hire Driver Testers to maintain vehicle readiness, perform hardware and software tests, and bring a customer service approach to public interactions.
In this role, you will play a critical part of advancing the company's technology with your "safety first" mindset while collecting crucial data.
The ideal candidate has 5 years of driving experience, ideally doing data collection for autonomous vehicles. This role will also require vehicle testing in off-road parks, so experience with off-road driving is required. You have a working knowledge of Linux Command Line, strong oral and written communication skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
As a Test Driver Tester, you'll:
- Support vehicle operations and drive 4-8 hours daily.
- Perform basic software operation to support mission requirements.
- Ensure vehicle roadworthiness and cleanliness are maintained.
- Assist in logistical support for vehicle maintenance, movement, and storage.
- Provide written and verbal feedback to the engineering team.
Requirements
- 5 years of driving experience
- Ability to drive for extended periods
- May not have any of the following:
- Moving violations within past year
- DUI
- Criminal record
- Some experience with Linux Command Line
- High level of critical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred
- Previous ADAS/autonomous vehicle testing experience is preferred
