IT Project Manager

Project Manager General Job Description:

• Facilitate and support Agile environment through Scrum Framework including:
• Daily Scum Meetings for Development Teams (Infrastructure, App Dev, PMs and QA)
• Participate and facilitate Sprint Planning and capacity planning
• Facilitate Scrum of Scrums for cross-team impediments remediation
• Facilitate Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives
• Identify gaps in use of Agile methodology and work with teams to drive adoption to improve efficiency
• Facilitate and assist in story refinement, estimating, splitting, task break downs
• Manage through Azure DevOps application and add-on tools
• Work with business and IT teams to collect business, functional and technical requirements
• Utilize solid analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into the application and operational requirements
• Oversee all phases of the project process from pre-production to completion
• Be main point of contact on site during the assigned project
• Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements– verbally or through written documentation – to product, owners, project teams, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
• Participate in the QA of solutions to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimized for product owner acceptance

COMPETENCIES:

• Project Manager with Technical skills and Business analysis experience who is willing to perform any / all tasks to ensure the project is successful.
• Highly skilled in effective communication across multiple knowledge domains including Business Backlog Owners, Development, and Infrastructure teams.
• Proficient in Agile methodology (Scaled Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and development lifecycles.
• Familiar with all aspects involved in Agile Release Train
• Effective problem solving, conflict resolution, negotiation, and coaching
• Enthusiasm and aptitude for identifying and driving resolution of obstacles to release train
