What does a day in the life of a Mortgage Lending Specialist look like?
- Go thru emails, check financial websites
- Check the market, rates, and local news
- Prequalify members
- Take loan applications
- Approve Members for Loans
- Talk to Real Estate Agents and Home Owner Insurance Companies
- Take Agents and Referral sources to lunch
- Schedule and go to closings
- Sell loans
- Attend events
- Conduct educational sessions
- Meet, coach and teach members
- Put out fires, give opinions, schmooze

Who are we looking for?
- The ideal Mortgage Lending Specialist also specializes in building relationships and being a SME (subject matter expert) regarding conventional and governmental program mortgages
- Seeks out (and brings with them) business relationships to increase mortgage referrals
- Two-five years of related experience in government lending preferred, but not required
- Eligible to register and maintain registration with the NMLS
