Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Prepare patients for laboratory tests and X-rays
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urine tests and blood draws
- Provide basic life support in emergency situations
- Assist with patient education and counseling on healthcare topics
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Provide medical administrative support, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient information
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a medical assistant training program or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in basic life support techniques
- Ability to perform X-rays (if required by the position)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient care and service
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks as needed
- Attention to detail and accuracy in recording patient information
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient records and information
Preferred Skills:
