Payroll Specialist
ROLE SUMMARY
Our payroll specialist will manage and oversee all aspects of a company's payroll and expense management process. In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks associated with multiple payroll processes including global. Also you will need to manage additional tasks including collecting bank and direct deposit information, handling paper checks for employees, maintaining accurate records and staying aligned with Federal, State and Local changes to payroll compliance requirements.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
- Manage bi-weekly & semi-monthly payroll including expense reimbursements for US based employees in collaboration with TriNet, Finance, and People Operations
- Support the day-to-day relationship with Payroll, coordinating internal and external stakeholders to ensure that an accurate, responsive, and timely payroll service is delivered to employees
- Review payroll files received from TriNet, audit payroll entries for changes, reconcile and approve each payroll process
- Ensure changes in each payroll cycle are being properly captured and applied to each payroll, identifying, and promptly reporting any discrepancies found within each pay cycle to TriNet
- Collaborate with the finance team in providing monthly reports and updates on payroll
- Respond to employees inquiries related to payments, deductions, and any other payroll related items, escalating issues when needed
- Evaluate system integration files to ensure changes applied to our HRIS system are being properly transferred to TriNet, collaborating with our global rewards team to ensure proper system functionality
- Manage day-to-day relationships with TriNet and other vendors, troubleshooting and resolving issues within a reasonable timeline
- Ensure benefit invoices are being reconciled monthly and approving invoices for benefits and payroll
- Provide ad-hoc reports to finance for 401K and payroll annual audits
- Ensure payroll records are being properly maintained and documents generated for payroll are being recorded in the company’s payroll electronic file
- Provide ad-hoc support in the delivery of other rewards & benefits related processes involving payroll as needed
- Own employee onboarding into payroll system as well as terminations
YOU BRING
- Experience as a strong data analyst, willing to get involved in complex projects as needed
- 3-5 years related work experience
- Prior experience with TriNet and/or ADP is a plus
- Other payroll system experience preferred but not required
- Detail oriented, ability to meet deadlines
- Strong organization and analytical skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Highly proficient with Excel use and other data analysis tools
- International Payroll experience is a plus
