What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Health Aide (HHA) position at True Life Care?
The best part of our HHA's working with Long Term Care in our Home Health Service environment is that they are not running around from patient to patient and just working their shift with that one patient creating a relationship to help them have the best time.
Some of their responsibilities include:
- Turning or moving patients.
- Gathering medical supplies.
- Bathing patients.
- Grooming patients by brushing their hair, teeth, shaving them, etc.
- Feeding patients and documenting their food and liquid intake daily.
- Checking vital signs such as blood pressure and heart rate.
- Answering patient calls.
- Documenting information.
- Cleaning rooms and bed linens.
- Stocking supplies.
- Assisting with some medical procedures.
- Safety procedures.
- Transporting patients.
- Taking care of wounds.

Weekly schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
