What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Nanny position at True Sitters?

Location: Harker Heights-76548
Children: 3; ages 11 (girl), 7 (boy), and 3 (boy)
Hours: M-F 8:30AM-4:30PM with the flexibility to leave a little early or stay later if needed
Dates: May 6(ish)-August 14, 2024
Length of Employment: Summer care. Family would love for nanny to be able to help with children during school year when the kids are home for school breaks or when sick, but a requirement.
Hourly Wage: $18/hr
Benefits: Guaranteed hours
Desired Nanny Characteristics: kind, fun personality; someone who is genuine about their career and will play and interact with the children; has experience with neurodivergent children and children with disabilities; must be a non-smoker.
Nanny Responsibilities: Full care of the children including meals (breakfast and lunch) and hygiene (primarily brush teeth, make sure they get dressed, diapering, etc.). Create and provide developmentally appropriate activities to keep the children engaged. Lots of outside time as the family loves to spend time outdoors. For any outings farther away than 30 minutes, advanced notice and confirmation of plans is required. On Wednesday and Thursday mornings, the boys have speech therapy; Daughter will have extracurriculars during the summer that will require nanny transport and oversight. Use of the family car will be provided for transportation of children while on the job. Possible travel with the family negotiable.
Special Considerations: 7 YO is autistic and 3 YO has Down Syndrome; both are speech delayed but go to speech therapy 2x a week. Both are normal little boys who love to play! Daughter is good at deciphering what they might be wanting/saying and can help with the communication if needed. 11 YO has an allergy to augmentin and patchouli; & 7 YO is allergic to cats.
