We are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Operations Supervisor to support our Operations Management department. The Pharmacy Operations Supervisor reports to the Pharmacist in Charge to support our Pharmacy Operations team. You will be lead team of pharmacy technicians and oversee prescription processing activities and workflow in a fast-paced, closed door pharmacy setting.

The Pharmacy Operations Supervisor reports to the Pharmacist in Charge to support our Pharmacy Operations team. You will be lead team of pharmacy technicians and oversee prescription processing activities and workflow in a fast-paced, closed door pharmacy setting.

- You'll ensure staff receives training on process changes to maintain quality, accreditation, regulatory, HIPAA and efficiency standards
- You’ll assist, work with and manage a large team including pharmacy technicians, data entry clerks, and warehouse personnel to fulfill orders
- You’ll collaborate with managers and directors in cross functional groups
- You’ll hire, train, and develop an effective staff
- You’ll communicate, plan, schedule and assign work for the team
- You’ll establish metrics, reports and dashboards to track performance against improvement targets
- You’ll reward and recognize performance and execute progressive discipline as needed
- You’ll drive continuous improvement and efficiencies in production planning
- You have an active, valid and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license to practice in your resident pharmacy state (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification is preferred)
- You have at least one year of experience as a supervisor/manager in a pharmacy setting
- You’re proficient in all aspects of pharmacy law, policies, and procedures
- You possess mail order and/or retail pharmacy experience
- You’re able to effectively communicate with and lead a team
